Image Source: DPA The Singapore Sports Hub sits on a 35 acre site and its designers were local, DP Architects. The heart of the Hub is the National Stadium with the dome measuring 312m in diameter; it beats the previous title holder of the biggest dome structure, the Texas Cowboys Stadium, by 37m (roughly 10 ).

August 26, 2014We have only just finished with the 2014 World Cup a couple of weeks ago and now thoughts and plans have turned to not only the 2018 World Cup but the 2022 World Cup - at least in Qatar. Qatar won the bid to host the event in 2022 and they have come up with designs for 12stadiums of which one, the Al Bayt Stadium, is going to be modelled around a traditional nomadic tent and will be designed with a removeable top tier.

Originally the fort was used for defending the coast of Britain against attacks from light aircraft and ships but now it has undergone a transformation costing £3 million and has become a luxury exclusive island retreat.
September 17, 2014While we have heard about underwater rooms in some of the big hotels around the world, a company called US Submarines Structures have taken things even further by offering underwater homes, called H2ome. They even have all the luxuries that you would get at a 5-star hotel. The home on Beach Avenue in Melbourne, Australia has been challenging to Schulberg Demkiw studios, the architects behind it. They had to make the most of the interior space of the home and make sure that they made the most of what natural light was available, while at the same time making sure that it was private along with being spacious.
